Juicy, engaging, energetic.
Bardolino DOC is located on the shores of Lake Garda in the province of Verona and this one, from Monte del Fra is a charming blend of allowed varieties, Corvina, Rondinella and Sangiovese from a 55+ year-old-vineyard.
It is juicy and grapey with sweet red and purple berry flavours, star anise, tealeaf and fine spices, pepper and cocoa. It is bouncy on the palate; fresh, silky and exceedingly quaffable.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Undressed.
